West Ham have entered the race for Chelsea flop Loic Remy according to the Mirror but only consider the striker as being a last option.
The report claims that the East London outfit will make a bid for Remy if efforts to sign Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony, AC Milan’s Carlos Bacca and Simone Zaza fail.
The Hammers may have to act soon however, as London rivals Crystal Palace want to loan Remy.
The loan deal could fetch as much as £10.3 million when the buyout clause factor is added in according to the Daily Star.
Remy has also been offered the chance to play Champions League football and be involved in a title race of the Turkish persuasion by Turkish giants Besiktas after the club entered talks with the Blues over a loan deal.
Turkish-Football sources can confirm that Besiktas president Fikret Orman made a second trip to England this month where he held talks with Chelsea over Remy and Manchester City over loaning Samir Nasri and Wilfried Bony.
Remy struggled for playing time last season scoring just once in the Premier League but he is a French international striker with years of top-level experience behind him.
