Jeremain Lens is set to complete his move from Sunderland to Fenerbahce after landing in Istanbul today.
The Netherlands international touched down at the Atatürk airport and is expected to put pen-to-paper on a deal with Fenerbahce tonight.
Turkish-Football sources can reveal that Lens is set to undergo a medical in Istanbul and if successful, will join the Istanbul giants on a season-long loan deal.
It is unclear whether an option to buy has been included in the deal which takes the Netherlands international to Fenerbahce.
Lens will once again be working under Dick Advocaat, who signed him Sunderland from Dynamo Kyiv.
The 28-year-old made the move to Sunderland just 12 months ago for £8m transfer according to SkySports. However, Lens made just 14 Premier League starts for the Black Cats.
Fenerbahce take on Bursaspor in their next Turkish Super League fixture on September 11.
