Galatasaray joined Liverpool in sending a message of support to former player Rigobert Song following news that the ex Cameroon international had suffered a stroke.
The Guardian reported that Song had been taken to hospital following a stroke and that his situation is currently critical.
Song became a fan favourite at Galatasaray and was nicknamed the lion – the Istanbul giants are also known as the Lions.

The 48-year-old is currently the manager of Chad and had over 100 caps for Cameroon as a player.
