Liverpool take on Manchester United at Anfield hoping to extend their winning run to five games and join Arsenal as well as Manchester City at the top of the league table.
The Reds could however, be without Adam Lallana and Georginio Wijnaldum who are not expected to reach full match fitness in time for kick-off according to the BBC.
In other Liverpool team news Nathaniel Clyne and Dejan Lovren have both recovered and Germany international of Turkish origin Emre Can is fit and could make his first league start of the season.
Can could be set to start if Wijnaldum is ruled out and he is almost certain to be included in the match-day squad.
The Reds have no other major injuries and have a great record against the leagues title contenders this season, beating Arsenal, Chelsea, reigning champions Leicester City and holding Tottenham to a draw.
Liverpool head into the game in fourth place but a win could take them into first place on goal difference.
