Former Galatasaray manager Cesare Prandelli has spoken out about his departure from Galatasaray.
The 57-year-old manager spoke to Italian reports following the Istanbul based clubs decision to terminate his contract.
“I had no idea I had been fired,” Prandelli said.
“I found out I had been sacked on TV.”
Prandelli met with the Galatasaray squad this morning to say farewell.
The former Italy national team coach won six, drew two and lost seven of the 15 games he was in charge of.
Galatasaray sacked Prandelli on Wednesday when the former Italy national team manager was just five months into his two-year contract.
The Lions are currently in third place in the Super League with 19 points from 10 games.
