Brazil national team coach Dunga revealed his fond memories of Turkey in the 2002 World Cup ahead of the international friendly on Wednesday 12 November.
“The Turkish national team has always achieved when faced with difficulty,” Dunga said.
“I never forget the excitement they brought to the 2002 World Cup, all they have to do is want it.
“They have great individual players and some strong, physical players.
“Turkey has a good mix of experienced and young players.”
Dunga also revealed that Brazil are going through major changes and announced his captain.
“Brazil is going through a transition, Neymar is the captain now,” Dunga said.
Brazil replaced Scolari with Dunga following a shocking 7-1 defeat against Germany in the World Cup this summer.
Dunga’s side have beat Colombia, Ecuador, Argentina and Japan since his appointment in charge.
The Brazil national team coach has selected a side comprising solely of footballers playing in Europe.
