Arsenal target Tolgay Arslan revealed he had offers from England
Tolgay Arslan gave ‘healthy signs’ scoring on his debut says Bilic
1. Tolgay Arslan
There are only a few weeks left until the Oscars so it is probably too late to nominate the Tolgay Arslan Transfer Saga. The former HSV midfielder had been linked with a number of clubs including Arsenal but Beşiktaş had been flirting with the assiduous midfielder for a few months and seemed favourites to sign. That was until Trabzonspor released pictures of club president Ibrahim Hacıosmanoğlu and manager Ersun Yanal posing with Arslan.
Trabzonspor claimed it was a done deal but while the Black Sea Storm were busy gloating on social media posting pictures of the talks and the apparent agreement Arslan had gone and made a deal with Beşiktaş.
Arslan arrived in Istanbul a day later, posted an picture this time wearing a Beşiktaş shirt and told his Facebook followers that he was joining the Black Eagles.
Trabzonspor were furious and launched a series of scathing attacks on Beşiktaş but it was too late and to rub salt in the wounds Arslan went and scored on his debut in the Turkish Cup.
The 24-year-old could end up proving a bargain. The Eagles signed Arslan for just €400,000. Arslan will bolster an already combative midfield and being able to play both on the defensive end and contribute to the attack will be music to Bilic’s ears.

2. Daniel Opare
The Ghanian international right-back arrived on loan from Porto until the end of the season with a buyout option. Beşiktaş were lacking depth at right-back. Central midfielders Necip Uysal and Atiba Hutchinson have had to fill in from time to time when Serdar Kurtuluş has been out injured so Opare will be a welcome addition to the team.
The 24-year-old is definitely not short on confidence, shortly after arriving he declared that Beşiktaş were strong enough to beat Liverpool and also impressed his new fans with his rap skills.
Could a new musical partnership be formed with Opare and Slaven Bilic who plays guitar with his heavy metal band Rawbau?

3. Alexander Milosevic
The Swedish international of Serbian origin was brought in to add strength to the Eagles defence. The 23-year-old defender joined the Black Eagles on a 3.5 season deal from AIK after spending four years playing for the Swedish side. Like Opare he is quite a character and has already won the hearts and minds of many fans with his regular social media updates praising the Beşiktaş faithful.
