Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil has issued an update on social media regarding his recovery from an illness.
The 28-year-old was sidelined for Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace and their frustrating 3-3 draw with Bournemouth earlier this week.
Ozil shared a photo of himself on social media and included the following caption, “Returning to Arsenal training ground after my flu. Not yet at 100% but I’m back.”
Ozil has been in impressive form this season with seven assists and nine goals in 23 apperances for the Gunners this term.
