Manchester United have been given the all clear to sign Victor Lindelof after Benfica agreed terms with the defender’s former club Vasteras according to Expressen.
Per the source, Benfica reached an agreement with Vasteras over a clause included in the deal when they initially signed him.
Vasteras were due 20 percent of the sell-on fee Benfica were to received from United but the Portuguese giants had tried to get out of the clause.
The conflict is now reported to be resolved leaving Lindelof free to join the Red Devils.

Nilsson was quoted as the Daily Star [via Aftonbladet] and said: “Benfica is one of Europe’s biggest clubs and we come from a small area in the Nordic region.
“They think we’ll fold as soon as they raise their voices.”
