Besiktas awaiting a response form Atiba
[divider]Besiktas are awaiting Atiba Hutchinson’s decision regarding the contract extension he has been offered.
The Black Eagles have offered Hutchinson for €1.3 million on a four-year deal according to the Turkish newspaper Fanatik but has been holding out for a €1.75 million per-season deal.
“We have made him (Atiba) an offer and are awaiting his decision. Atiba is a player who we want to stay at the club,” Besiktas board member Mete Vardar told Takvim.
The Black Eagles also recently renewed the contracts of Veli Kavlak, Ersan Gulun, Atinc Nukan and Mustafa Pektemek on similar wages.

The 31-year-old midfielder can enter direct talks with other clubs due to his contract set to run out at the end of the season.
Hutchinson has made a total of 26 appearances for the Black Eagles in all competitions this season but missed the 2-1 win over Mersin due to injury.
The 31-year-old was recently voted Canadian Men’s Player of the Year for a third time.
Beşiktaş are currently in second place on 41 points, just one point behind league leaders Fenerbahçe.
