Besiktas beat Galatasaray 1-0 at the Turk Telekom Arena in the Istanbul derby, taking another giant step towards defending the league title in the process.
Brazilian attacking midfielder Anderson Talisca scored the winning goal early in the second half from a free-kick effort which took a lucky deflection.

Talisca has now scored in his last two league games taking his overall season tally in all competitions to nine goals.
The 23-year-old has been linked with a move to Liverpool, the Fanatik newspaper reported today that the Reds have rekindled interest in the Besiktas star on loan from Benfica.
Talisca was close to signing for the Premier League giants over the summer transfer window but the transfer fell through due to work visa requirements.
Turkish-Football.com reported that the Reds have been keeping tabs on Talisca and scouted the powerful midfielder in the Istanbul derby.
Talisca joined Besiktas on a two-year loan from Benfica over the summer and have the option to activate his €25 million release clause.
Besiktas moved 10 points clear of 3rd placed Galatasaray and 12 points clear of Fenerbahce who are in 4th position.
Basaksehir are currently second in the Turkish league, four points behind Besiktas.
