Liverpool legend John Aldridge has admitted that he is worried about this weekend’s clash with Arsenal in the Premier League.
Aldridge was disappointed with both Emre Can and Gini Wijnaldum’s performances during the Reds collapse against Leicester City on Monday.

However, the stats reveal that Can was actually one of Liverpool’s top performers and also provided an assist.
Liverpool succumbed to a 3-1 defeat against the reigning Premier League champions who were without a win in 2017.
Emre Can came under heavy criticism for his performance against the Foxes on social media by sections of the fans.
Aldridge also stated that he hopes club captain Jordan Henderson returns from his injury in time for this weekend’s game.
“Monday night showed, as if it were needed, just how much we miss the captain when he’s not there,” Aldridge wrote in his column for the Liverpool Echo.
“It was ridiculous how light we looked in midfield without him.
“Emre Can and Gini Wijnaldum went missing in the first half, and the damage was done by half-time. It sounds like he’s a major doubt for the Arsenal game, and that worries me greatly. I fear for us if he’s not there.”
Liverpool currently find themselves in fifth place with 49 points after 26 games and host Arsenal at Anfield on Saturday. Kick-off is at 17:30 (GMT).
Emre Can has provided three assists and score three goals in 28 apperances for the Red’s this season.
