Arsenal star’s bromance with Mathieu Flamini’s reaches new heights
The bromance between Mesut Ozil and Mathieu Flamini has hit new heights following a commercial for a German car brand.
The duo were inseparable last season and even Flamini’s departure from Arsenal to Crystal Palace hasn’t dented the relationship.
Flamini and Ozil have appeared together in a Mercedes advert where they both spoke about their friendship.
“We like very much to travel and we love life. That’s why we enjoy every day like it was the last one,” Flamini stated.
Meanwhile Ozil said, “He is very, very experienced. Not only in his profession, but off the pitch.
“He was like a big brother to me. Luckily he still plays in London and we still get to hang out a lot. I am just grateful that I met such a great guy.”

Flamini and Mesut Ozil were known for having a bromance during their time at Arsenal.
“They are twins. I’ve played with twins, in Fabio and Rafael Da Silva, but these are closer,” Danny Welbeck stated (Mirror).
Flamini joined Crystal Palace on a free transfer at the beginning of the season but has made just seven apperances for the Eagles this season. The French midfielder’s contract with the London based club expires in the summer.
Mesut Ozil could also be nearing a move away from London in the near future. The 28-year-old has under 18 months remaining on his deal with the Gunners and is yet to put pen-to-paper on a new deal.
