Chelsea target Hakan Calhanoglu open to Leverkusen exit
Turkey international Hakan Calhanoglu is considering a move away from Bayer Leverkusen this summer.
A source close to the player has revealed to Turkish-Football that Calhanoglu will consider his options at the end of the season, despite having a little under three years remaining on his contract.
Per the source, Leverkusen will be willing to sell their star midfielder but know they are in a strong negotiation position due to the current contract in place.
Furthermore the source revealed Calhanoglu is keen on a move to the Premier League and the Blues have been scouting the young attacking midfielder.

Calhanoglu was closely linked with a move to Chelsea over the January transfer window after he was quoted as saying “God willing, I will be a Chelsea player next season.” (Fanatik)
However, Calhanoglu later distanced himself from the quote but reports continue to link the Turkey international with Chelsea.
Calhanoglu is banned from playing any senior football until the end of the season due to a FIFA suspension. The Turkey international decided to waive his wages from Bayer Leverkusen as a mark of respect to the club.
The 22-year-old has been in impressive form for Leverkusen this term with seven assists and seven goals in 21 apperances.
