Birmingham v Wigan Probable Lineups: Turkey international available for Blues

Birmingham City can move up into 12th place today if they record a victory over Wigan in the Championship tonight.

Gianfranco Zola’s side have lost four of their last five games and have slipped down to 17th spot in the table.

Wigan meanwhile are in worse form having secured only one win in their last eight games. The Latics find themselves in the relegation zone with just 31 points after 35 matches.

Birmingham City recorded a 3-1 victory over Wigan when the two sides last met at St Andrews in January 2015. Star striker Clayton Donaldson is a major doubt going into tonight’s clash while both Lucas Jutkiewicz and Jonathan Grounds are fit to start.

Kerim Frei – who is on a season long loan from Besiktas – is available for tonight’s game. The Turkey international has started just two games since joining but has made a total of six appearances.

Frei previously played for Fulham FC in the Premier League before making the move to Turkey.
