12 months after leaving Liverpool Mario Balotelli could be on his way to Turkey
Italy international Mario Balotelli has been linked with a move to the Turkish giants Fenerbahce.
The Turkish outlet Fotomac have stated that Fener want to bolster their attacking options this summer.
Former Man United and Arsenal striker Robin van Persie has been linked with a move away from the Istanbul based club while Moussa Sow’s season-long loan comes to an end in July.
The report goes onto state that Balotelli is currently at the top of Fenerbahce’s summer shopping list.
Mario Balotelli joined OGC Nice from Liverpool at the beginning of the season. The Italy international failed to live up to expectations on Merseyside and was discarded following the appointment of Jurgen Klopp.
The 26-year-old has scored 11 goals in 26 apperances for Nice so far this season. Balotelli has scored 13 goals in 33 apperances for the Italy national team.
Nice are currently third in Ligue 1 with 62 points after 28 games and are just three points behind leaders Monaco.
