Barlaser joined the Magpies from Swalwell Swifts as a youth player agent nine-years old and has been rising through the ranks at the Newcastle United academy.
The 20-year-old has established himself as a first-team regular for the Under-23s side since making his debut at that level in December 2013.
Despite being born in Gateshead, Newcastle, Barlaser is of Turkish origin and has represented both countries at youth international level.
Barlaser has the option to represent Turkey or England at senior international level.
The young midfielder has yet to feature for the senior Newcastle United side this season.
