Revealed: Man United bookmakers favourite to win Europa League, Besiktas 6th favourites

Manchester United are the bookmakers favourites to win the Europa League after progressing to the quarter-final stage following their 1-0 victory over Krasnador at Old Trafford.

United ended up beating the Russian side 2-1 on aggregate to book a place in the next round where they will Besiktas, Ajax, Celta Vigo, Genk, Anderlecht, Lyon or Schalke.

The Red Devils have been priced between 2.25 – 2.63, Lyon are second favourites followed by Schalke, Ajax, Celta Vigo, Besiktas, Anderlecht and the biggest outsiders Anderlecht.

Besiktas are between 10-13 to win the trophy for what would be the first time.

The Black Eagles booked a place in the quarter-finals after beating Olympiakos 4-1 in Istanbul – preceded by a 1-1 draw in Greece.

The Istanbul giants have now scored five goals on aggregate past Round of 32 and Round of 16 opponents.

Besiktas beat Hapoel Beer-Sheva 5-3 on aggregate and Olympiakos 5-2.

The Eagles secured a quarter-final place in the Europa League for the first time since 2003 in the process.

Besiktas have played three European competition quarter-finals in their history.

The draw will take place today at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

The Black and Whites are currently first in the Turkish league, two points clear of second placed Basaksehir.
