Swansea City & Southampton held talks with star defender headed for Turkey league exit
Galatasaray defender Aurelian Chedjou has revealed that he held talks with Swansea City and Southampton in January.
Turkish-Football first became aware of Swansea City interest over the winter transfer window when the Swans made a transfer deadline swoop for the Cameroon international.
Chedjou has now said that Southampton were also holding negotiations with him.

“I was in talks with Swansea City and Southampton in January,” Chedjou was quoted as saying by Ajanspor.
“It seems my Galatasaray adventure will come to an end this summer.”
The 31-year-old defender joined the Lions on a £5.36 (Transfermarkt) move from Lille in 2013.
Chedjou has a wealth of top level experience having won the Ligue 1 title with Lille and the Turkish league with Galatasaray.
The experienced centre-back also has years of Champions League and international football under his belt.
Chedjou will be available as a free agent at the end of the season as his contract runs out at the end of the current league campaign.
Galatasaray currently have no plans to offer Chedjou a new deal.
The Istanbul giants are 3rd in the Turkish league, nine points behind league leaders Besiktas.
