Three factors which may sway Arsenal star Mesut Ozil to Fenerbahce
Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil has recently been linked with a transfer to Turkish league outfit Fenerbahce by the Telegraph.
Per the source, the 28-year-old is moving into the final year of his contract and is yet to respond to Arsenal’s latest offer.
While many fans will simply dismiss a rumor linking Ozil with a move to Fenerbahce, there are number of major factors which could sway him towards a move to Turkey.
Firstly, Ozil is known to be a Fenerbahce fan and has frequently expressed a desire to one day play in Turkey.
“Everyone knows I am a Fenerbahçe fan,” Ozil told the Turkish outlet Sabah.

Ozil held talks with Fenerbahce during his latest trip to Istanbul according to Hurriyet sports journalist Ahmet Ercanlar.
“I believe it is very likely that Ozil will wear a Fenerbahce jersey at some time in the the next few seasons,” Ercanlar was quoted as saying.
Secondly Ozil was born to Turkish parents and is currently dating Miss Turkey Amine Gulse.
Finally Ozil was recently looking for a house in Istanbul – a city which he regularly visits. A source close to the player revealed to Turkish-football.com that Ozil has been looking for property in Turkey’s largest city.
Arsenal are currently sixth in the Premier League following their 3-1 defeat at the hands of West Brom on Saturday.
Ozil has provided nine assists and nine goals in 31 appearances for Arsenal so far this season.
