Germany international midfielder Emre Can has heaped praise on Liverpool fans following the Reds 3-1 victory over their rivals Everton today.

Can played the full 90 minutes during the Merseyside derby despite being singled out for some rough treatment by Everton players.

The 23-year-old was stamped on and received a heavy blow to the knee.
