Arsenal fans rage at Mesut Ozil’s defending against Man City on social media
Arsenal held Manchester City to a 2-2 draw at the Emirates in the Premier League.
The point did not do much to advance the Gunners hopes of finishing in the top four but they were playing one of the toughest sides in the Premier League.
Germany international of Turkish origin Mesut Ozil started for Arsenal and put on a display which had its highs and lows.
Ozil did provide the assist for the Gunners second goal but he was also at fault for his side conceding.
In case you missed the incident here it is again.
Ozil gave the ball away in his own half and did not really make an effort to win it back.
The incident resulted in City scoring their second goal of the game.

To be fair Xhaka’s defending was not much better either and he is actually supposed to be a defensive minded player.
Sloppy from Ozil. Coquelin didn’t track De Bruyne. Xhaka watched Aguero pull away from Monreal. Shocking defending.
