West Ham transfer news: Besiktas surge ahead in race to sign Mandzukic
Besiktas have held early talks with Mario Mandzukic agent Ivan Cvjetkovic.
The Turkish outlet Fotomac reports that talks have been ongoing with the Croatia internationals representatives for the past week.
Per the source, Mandzukic is considering a move to the Turkish giants. Fotomac goes onto state that the experinced striker is drawn by the opportunity to record a high goal tally in the Turkish league.
Meanwhile The Sun have recently reported that that West Ham United are also keeping tabs the 30-year-old.

The Hammers are keen to use Slaven Bilic to draw Mandzukic to West Ham.
