Arsenal team news: Wenger facing goalkeeper crisis, star playmaker trains ahead of West Ham clash
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger faces an goalkeeper injury crisis going into the West Ham clash on Wednesday.
The Mirror report that first choice keeper Petr Cech and second choice keeper David Ospina are both out.
Cech was already ruled out but Ospina has now also been forced onto the sidelines with a back injury.
The Czech Republic keeper is out for another two weeks with a calf injury, the extent of Ospina’s injury is currently unknown.
Wenger could have to play third choice keeper Emiliano Martinez against the Hammers as a result.
Martinez has only played three games in the League Cup for the North London side this season.
The third-choice keeper may have to deputise for the next few weeks depending on the severity of Ospina’s injury.
In other Arsenal team news Mesut Ozil trained with the team today.
The Germany international of Turkish origin has had injury trouble recently but is expected to be fit and ready for the London derby.
