West Ham fans react to sharing stadium name with Turkish league giants

First it was Slaven Bilic moved from Besiktas to West Ham, then it was Gokhan Tore and now it seems the stadium name could be on its way to East London.

Sky Sports have reported that West Ham’s London Stadium has found a naming rights sponsor.

Per the source, Vodafone are on the verge of agreeing a £20 million deal to be the naming partner.

The deal will reportedly be worth £3.3m-a-year, which will go to stadium owners LLDC.

The stadium could end up being called the Vodafone Arena, which would be the same name as the current Besiktas stadium.

The stadium was previously called the Inonu until Vodafone took over the naming rights in a similar deal to the one being proposed to West Ham.
