Man United face competition for wonder-kid involved in 12 goals in 13 games
Trabzonspor wonder-kid Yusuf Yazici has hit the ground running since becoming a first-team regular after the winter break.
Trabzonspor have lost just one game since Yazici become a starter in 2017.
The 20-year-old’s impressive form has resulted in several clubs from across Europe keeping tabs on his development.
Turkish-Football recently reported that Manchester United have been scouting the Turkish international.
One of United’s main rivals left in the Europa League Lyon sent scouts to monitor the Trabzonspor v Besiktas clash over the weekend.
Lyon were scouting their Europa League quarter-final opponents Besiktas who they face on Thursday.
The French giants sent coach Claudio Caçapa to the game to report on Besiktas.
Turkish newspaper the Star reported that Caçapa was left impressed with a Trabzonspor star Yazici instead.
Per the source, Lyon will keep tabs on Yazici for the rest of the season and have added the youngster to their shortlist.
The rising star provided two assists in the 4-3 defeat against Besiktas.

Yazici has now been involved in 12 goals in 13 starts – five goals, seven assists – for Trabzonspor this season.
Lyon will take on Besiktas in France on Thursday in the Europa League quarter-final first leg tie.
