Man City Team News: Pep Guardiola facing injury issues ahead of Southampton clash
Manchester City take on Southampton this weekend as they look to record back-to-back wins.
The Citizens recorded a 3-1 victory over Hull City last week and have generated a four point buffer between themselves and Man United.
However, United have a game in hand which means Pep Guardiola’s side cannot afford to take their foot of the gas just yet.
Southampton come into the game following back-to-back wins and are unbeaten in their last three.
Injuries:
Pep Guardiola will once again be able to call upon Vincent Kompany who returned to full training this week.
Fernandinho is also available however Bacary Sagna is a major doubt for the trip to Southampton.
City will also be without Gabriel Jesus and Ilkay Gundogan. Gundogan is expected to miss the remainder of the season due to a knee injury he suffered back in December.
Suspensions:
Manchester City do not have any suspensions going into this weekend’s Premier League clash.
