Could the return of Jordan Henderson disrupt Can’s recent development?
Emre Can should only ever be played as a number 6. He’s been shifted around too often and it’s hindered his development. Leave him there.

Can will have just 12 months remaining on his contract at the end of the season. Does he deserve a new deal?
I don’t think it’s a debate anymore, Emre Can 100% deserves a new contract. He’s done everything required, plus more, in recent weeks.

I’ve been critical of Emre Can but the lad has earned a new contract. Hasn’t looked out of place for a minute. Dominant force recently.

United out here giving Jesse fucking Lingard £100k p/w and I’m grafting in the mud trying to convince people Emre Can is worth £80k p/w.

Just a few months ago there were more than a few fans calling for Can to get axed.
Remember when Emre Can was regarded as not good enough a few months ago? He’s been Liverpool’s best player in the last few games. #lfc

Since recovering from his calf injury, Emre Can has become a one-man army for #LFC.

‘Sell Emre Can’. ‘average player’ ‘rather young Stewart start ahead of him’. pic.twitter.com/r6jdBy0VhH

Sounds fair!
You were allowed to criticise Emre Can when he was playing badly, and you’re allowed to praise him now he’s playing well. It’s OK.
