Arsenal set for transfer talks with Euro giants over David Ospina – Personal terms already agreed
Fenerbahce are set to hold talks with with Arsenal over the singing of David Ospina.
According to the Turkish outlet Fanatik, the Yellow Canaries have already agreed personal terms with David Ospina. Fenerbahce are however yet to agree a transfer fee with the Gunners.
The report goes onto state that Fenerbahce are set to table a €3 million offer for Ospina.
Ospina has struggled for game time at Arsenal since joining from OGC Nice back in 2014. The Colombia international is behind Petr Cech in the pecking order at Arsenal.
Eight of Ospina’s 13 appearances this season have come in the UEFA Champions League. The 28-year-old also featured during Arsenal’s 10-2 aggregate defeat to Bayern Munich last month.
Fenerbahce are on the lookout for a new goalkeeper with loanee Fabiano expected to leave at the end of the season. The Istanbul giants are also contemplating the possibility of replacing their 35-year old club captain Volkan Demirel.
Fenerbahce take on their biter rivals Galatasaray this weekend in the intercontinental derby.
