Besiktas striker Mustafa Pektemek set to return from injury

Besiktas striker Mustafa Pektemek is set to return to first team football after recovering from a facial injury which has kept him out for two months.

The 26-year-old has been included in the squad to face Kayserispor in the Turkish Cup and may be included in Slaven Bilic’s starting line-up.

Besiktas take on Kayserisor in the Ziraat Turkish Cup on Wednesday 11 February,

Pektemek suffered fractures to his face following a collision with Essiad Belkalem in Besiktas’s victory over Trabzonspor in December.

The Beşiktaş striker recently signed a four-year contract extension keeping him at the club until July 2019.

Pektemek joined the Black Eagles on a £3.2 million move from Gençlerbirliği in 2011.

The Turkish international has 16 goals and eights assists in 89 appearances for Beşiktaş.
