Fenerbahce join race for Fernandao [divider]
Fenerbahçe have joined the race for Bursaspor striker Fernandao according to Eurosport TR.
Fernandao has been attracting a lot of interest following a brilliant start to the season. The 27-year-old is currently the leagues leading goal scorer with 13 goals.
Trabzonspor striker Oscar Cardozo has 12 goals while Galatasaray forward Burak Yılmaz, Beşiktaş hitman Demba Ba as well as Akhisar striker Gekas all have 11 goals.
The Brazilian stiker joined Bursaspor on loan from Atlético-PR and has a total of 14 goals and one assist in all competitions for the Green Crocodiles this season.
Galatasaray have also been closely linked with the prolific goalscorer.
However, Atlético-PR are unable to accept a bid from Galatasaray as Bursaspor have a first option clause set at €5 million.
Bursaspor have scored the most goals in the league this season (39) and are currently in four position in the league.
The Green Crocodiles have a tough test against Beşiktaş in Istanbul next.
