Başakşehir signed an agreement with Atletico Madrid today to open an academy in partnership with the La Liga champions earlier today.
The project will be the first academy setup by the Rojiblancos in Turkey and is expected to be completed towards the end of March.
Başakşehir are currently 5th in the Süper Lig on 32 points after 19 games this season.
The Istanbul based side have the best defensive record in the league and one of the best in Europe. Başakşehir have only conceded 12 goals in the Süper Lig this season.
