“Arsenal are going to have to go big,” Parlour said, as quoted on Alan Brazil’s personal Twitter account.
“They’re going to have to go to £250,000 a week which the board are probably not going to like to do.
“But this is what you’ve got to do to keep Sanchez. Sign them up, pay the money.
“Sanchez is so important and you saw that on the weekend. If you are going to replace Sanchez, with his quality, you’re going to have to spend £50million plus.
“Then, they want £200,000 a week because that is the going rate of everyone at other clubs.”
The duo starred in Arsenal’s 4-1 win over Stoke City on Saturday. Ozil scored once while Sanchez netted a brace. Olivier Giroud scored Arsenal’s remaining goal.
Sanchez joined Arsenal for £35 million back in 2014 (BBC). Arsenal broke their transfer record to sign Mesut Ozil a year earlier for £42 million a year earlier.
The Chile international has racked up 19 assists and 26 goals in 48 apperances. Ozil meanwhile has registered 12 goals and 12 assists in 40 games for Arsenal.
Ozil and Sanchez’s future at Arsenal may rest on whether the Gunners qualify for the UEFA Champions League. The North London based club need to win their remaining two games if they are to stand a chance of qualification.
Arsenal take on Sunderland tonight, kick-off is scheduled for 19:45 (GMT).
