“We could make a young lad happy tonight” – Mesut Ozil celebrates Arsenal win and charity work

Mesut Ozil played a starring role during Arsenal’s 2-0 victory over Sunderland yesterday.

The 28-year-old provided the assist for the Gunners opening goal and created numerous chances on the night.

Ozil also invited an 11-year-old with brain tumour into his private box for the game against Sunderland. The Gillingham based-cancer charity ‘My Shining Star’ previously heaped praise on Ozil for his charitable act.
