‘Wow, you don’t score 2 goals against Barcelona everyday’ – Man City star has message for the fans
Manchester City finished the 2016-17 Premier League season in third-position, booking a place in the Champions League.
Turkish origin attacking midfielder Ilkay Gundogan had a frustrating campaign, missing the entire second half of the season due to injury.
Gundogan did however, have a few memorable moments including scoring a brace against Barcelona in the Champions League.

The 24-year-old shared a photograph on Instagram looking in reflective mood.
His caption went into a lengthy breakdown of his thoughts regarding the season.
Gundogan revealed how tough it has been not playing but also focused on some of the highlights such as his display against Barcelona.
The Germany international star also thanked the fans for their support and making him feel at home in Manchester.
The former Borussia Dortmund man also underlined that his ‘will is unbroken’ and that he will be back.
Gundogan is expected to recover in time for the start of the 2017-18 campaign and likely to join City on their pre-season tour.
