The 30-year-old has attracted a lot of interest from Turkish Super Lig clubs.

Trabzonspor became the latest club to linked with a move in the Turkish media.

Fotomac report that the Black Sea based outfit are planning to replace Onazi with Lucas.

Onazi is set to make a big money move to China over the summer.

Per the source, Galatasaray are also in the race to sign Lucas.

The sports newspaper also recently reported that Super Lig champions Besiktas are keen on bringing Lucas in to add depth and experience to their midfield.

The main sticking point has been Lucas’ wage demands.

The Express report that Lucas is demanding £4.2 million a-season from clubs looking to sign him over the summer.

The Liverpool veteran is currently asking for a salary that the clubs in mention would not be able to match.

Besiktas would however, be able to offer Champions League football next season.
