Newcastle United set to hold talks in England with Besiktas club official over striker transfer
Besiktas club officials Ali Naibi and Umut Guner are set to travel to England for talks with Newcastle United over the transfer of Aleksandar Mitrovic.
Fotospor report that the Black Eagles are keen on the Newcastle striker as they step up efforts to strengthen their attacking line ahead of the Champions League campaign.
The Besiktas officials have close ties to Mitrovic’s agent Nenad Jestrovic who used to play in Turkey.

Naibi and Guner have already started initial talks with his agent.
The 22-year-old has also been closely linked with a move to Fenerbahce but the Chronicle report that no bid have been made.
Per the source, Newcastle have not actually received any offers for the Serbian international.
The report does claim that the Magpies could be open to a loan move.
Besiktas have made signing an additional striker a priority as they face an uncertain future over whether Vincent Aboubakar will stay on at the club next season.
