Revealed: Man City’s buy-back-option on Enes Unal could be as high as £31.4m, release clause set at £43.7m
Manchester City recently sold rising star Enes Unal to Villarreal on a permanent deal.
City did however, include a buy-back option on Enes Unal.
The Citizens will be able to bring the 20-year-old back to Manchester if he goes onto reach his potential in La Liga but he will not sign on the cheap.

A source close to the player revealed to Turkish-Football that City have an option to sign Unal for £28 million [€32m] after his first season at Villarreal.
The fee rises to £29.7 million [€34m] in his second seasons and £31.4 million [€36m] in his third season.
If City do not wish to activate his buyback clause, Unal has a release clause set at £43.7 million [€50m].
City were insistent on a buy back clause as they believe he has a part to play at City in the future according to his agent Batur Altiparmak.
“They said to us that you’re free to choose. In fact, City wanted to loan him out for another year. But if you go out on loan, then it means you’ll have to go to a weaker club,” Altiparmak told beIN Sport.
“We told City that selling him might make sense. They said to us if we sell him then it has to include a buyback clause because we believe he has a part to play at City for the future, and then we put a buyback clause in the deal.”
The Turkish international joined City on a £2 million move from Bursaspor in 2015 and has enjoyed a meteoric rise over the past two seasons.
Unal had a brilliant season on loan at FC Twente last season scoring 19 times and providing four assists in all competitions.
The powerful striker has also started to become a regular call up to the Turkish national team setup and is expected to feature against Kosovo over the weekend in a World Cup qualification game.
