Fenerbahce have reached an agreement in principle with Leicester City over the transfer of Ahmed Musa according to reports in Turkey.

Sozcu claim that Leicester and Fenerbahce have come to an agreement over a loan move for Ahmed.

Per the source, the Foxes are keen on Ahmed regaining him form, playing regular first team football and gaining more European competition experience.

Leicester feel a temporary move could be what is needed to get the Nigerian international back on track.

Fenerbahce have made strengthening their forward line a priority with Moussa Sow and Emmanuel Emenike set to leave over the summer.

The Yellow Canaries scored the fewest number of goals in the top four last season (60).

The 24-year-old joined the Foxes for a club record £16 million fee (BBC) from CSKA Moscow last summer but failed to live up to expectations scoring just four times in all competitions.

The powerful striker played just 11 mins in the Foxes last seven Premier League games of the season.

Musa does however, have a wealth of international football experience under his belt with 61 caps for Nigeria, scoring 13 times.

The Yellow Canaries finished last season in third place and will compete in the Europa League next season.
