Liverpool news: Dortmund wonder-kid keen on Reds move, demands more playing time

Liverpool have been closely linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund wonder-kid Emre Mor in the British press today.

Reports suggest that the Reds are plotting a loan move with the option to buy.

A source close to the player revealed to Turkish-Football that Liverpool are interested in Mor however, talks are not at an advanced stage.

Additionally Mor is keen on such a move to gain more playing time. The Turkish international has grown frustrated with his lack of first-team action at Dortmund.

The 19-year-old was snapped up on a five-year deal last summer and did manage to score three goals and provide one assist in 13 Bundesliga game.

Mor was however, the most promising of the emerging Turkish golden generation but has seen the likes of former Manchester City striker Enes Unal and 19-year-old Basaksehir forward Cengiz Under carry their respective teams this season while he has struggled to make much of an impact.

Unal scored 19 goals and provided three assists in all competitions on loan at FC Twente last season.

Under meanwhile was the star of the show at Turkish league runners-up Basaksehir scoring nine times and providing seven assists.

Twenty-year old centre-back Caglar Soyuncu meanwhile went from second-tier Turkish league football to breaking into the first-team at Bundesliga outfit Freiburg.
