3 Reasons Emre Mor could be a success at Liverpool

Liverpool have been closely linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund wonder-kid Emre Mor in the British press recently.

1. Right Fit

Mor is the type of player Dortmund currently have in abundence but the same cannot be said for the Reds. Liverpool lacked depth on the flanks this season. Injury to Sadio Mane exposed the problem the Reds have in wide positions. With the Senegal international sidelined Jurgen Klopp’s side lacked replacements who possessed the explosive acceleration and dribbling ability possessed by Mane. The Dortmund wonder kid would provide cover for Mane and Coutinho. The 19-year-old is remarkably quick with the ball and his dribbling ability is breathtaking at times. The Turkish international has an eye for goal and brilliant technique.

Klopp could really do with a player possessing Mor’s attributes to strengthen his wide attacking areas next season.

2. Jurgen Klopp Factor

Mor is a diamond in the rough. There is no denying his special talent but the 19-year-old needs some polishing. Klopp has a great track record in developing talent. The Reds boss played a key role in developing players such as Turkish international Nuri Sahin as well as Ilkay Gundogan during his time at Dortmund. The Copenhagen born rising star exploded onto the scene last season but lacked guidance this season. Mor is the type of player that needs to be taken under the wing of a father-type figure and nurtured. There are few in the business better at helping young players unlock their potential than Klopp.

3. Youth

The golden rule of investment is to buy low, sell high. Mor is just 19-years-old and if he continues to develop at the same rate over the next few years his valuation is going to sky rocket. The youngster is already ready for first-team football and is hungry to prove himself on a regular basis. The rising star is already a regular call up for the Turkish national side where he has impressive whenever given the chance.
