The 32-year-old striker scored 15 times in 32 appearances for the Swans in the Premier League last season.
Llorente does have another year remaining on his contract but the Eagles feel that the promise of Champions League football could lure the experienced striker away from Wales.
Besiktas have won the league title for two-seasons running but are lacking depth upfront.
Demba Ba is set to return to China following the end of his loan move.
Vincent Aboubakar is also set to return to his parent club after spending the season on loan at Besiktas from Porto.
The Istanbul giants currently only have Cenk Tosun on their books as a first-choice striker along with Omer Sismanoglu.
It’s the sort of thing we’d do!
