Newcastle prepared to sell Benitez’s first transfer, Turkish giants offer escape route
Newcastle United are prepared to sell goalkeeper Matz Sels according to the Chronicle.
Per the source, the Magpies keeper could be handed an escape route from Turkish giants Fenerbahce.
Sels was Newcastle head coach Rafa Benitez’s first transfer after taking charge of the club.
Benitez signed Sels from Belgium outfit Gent for a £5.5 million transfer fee last summer.

After starting the first nine league games, the keeper was dropped and fell behind both Karl Darlow and Rob Elliot in the pecking order.
The newly promoted Premier League side want to recoup some of what they invested in the 25-year-old.
Fenerbahce are however, keen on a loan move for the keeper.
The report also claims that four Belgium based sides are interested but would struggle to match his wages.
Also other Turkish sides have made enquiries but Fenerbahce’s interest is reported to be the most concrete.
The Yellow Canaries are in the hunt for a new goalkeeper and have been closely linked with a move for Arsenal’s David Ospina.
