‘I think they will sign him back’ – La Liga official believes Man City will end up paying for star striker return
Villarreal vice-president Jose Manuel Llaneza believes that Manchester City will end up activating their buy back option on Enes Unal in the future.
Speaking to the Spanish press Llaneza revealed that he has high hopes for Unal and praised the Turkish international striker.
“He is a great fit for us, a powerful, technically striker good with both feet and a great finish,” Llaneza said.
“I think Man City will sign him back, he will prove himself on the pitch.”

City sold Unal to Villarreal but did include a buy back option.
A source close to the player revealed to Turkish-Football that City have an option to sign Unal back for £28 million [€32m] after his first season at Villarreal.
The fee rises to £29.7 million [€34m] for his second campaign and £31.4 million [€36m] in his third season.
If City do not wish to activate his buyback clause, Unal has a release clause set at £43.7 million [€50m].
Unal spent last season on loan at FC Twente were he scored 19 goals and provided four assists in all competitions.
The 19-year-old was however, unable to play in England due to not having a work permit.
