‘We have not been informed of Man United deal’ – Club official believes £22m Brazilian star will remain at club despite reports of Red Devils transfer
Besiktas club official Metin Albayrak has responded to reports claiming that Manchester United have agreed terms with Anderson Talisca.
Albayrak revealed that Besiktas must be informed of any deal taking place and that as far as he knows Talisca will be staying for on for another season.
“Well every players dreams of playing in the Premier League or La Liga but Talisca has another year with us,” Albayrak was quoted as saying by Turkish-Football.
“We have to be informed of any transfers, it cannot go ahead without us at the table, we have not been informed of a Man United deal.”

Reports in Turkey yesterday claimed that United struck a deal with Talisca.
AMK reported that the Brazilian ace struck a deal with the Red Devils.
United have been closely linked with Talisca ever since his comments in an interview with Globoesporte where he said Jose Mourinho wants him.
“That is a question I can not give an answer to just yet,” Talisca was quoted as saying when asked about United interest.
“I cannot deny there is interest but what happens next depends on Benfica and my representatives.
“There will be news on this soon.
“Look every player dreams of playing under him [Jose Mourinho].
“Mourinho wants me, he has wanted me for a long time and I am an admirer of his work.
“I had a good season so we will see what happens.”
Besiktas signed Talisca on a two-year loan deal last summer but he does have a £22 million [€25m] release clause which remains active.
United would however, be reliant on the FA giving Talisca a work permit under the ‘exceptional talent’ ruling.
As things stand Talisca is not eligible or a work permit due to not having played the necessary amount of international games for Brazil over the past two seasons.
Talisca scored 17 times and provided six assists in all competitions this season.
