Liverpool suffer injury blow as star midfielder could be sidelined for Confederations Cup clash
Liverpool midfielder Emre Can suffered an injury today during a training session with the Germany national team.
Germany head coach Joachim Low revealed that Can hurt his foot during training and he does not know whether the midfielder will be able to make the Confederations Cup clash against Cameroon.
Explaining Can’s problem, Low told a press conference: “During training, Emre Can has sustained a minor injury.
“He bent over on the pitch. His boot got stuck in the grass. We will have to see how he feels because he had to break off training.”

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp Low will be keeping a close eye on developments as Can suffered with injury problems over the 2016-17 season.
Can is already expected to miss the start of the Reds pre-season due to Confederations Cup duty.
The midfielder of Turkish origin could continue at the tournament until July 2.
The 23-year-old started for Germany in the 1-1 draw against Chile in their last Group B game.
Germany are guaranteed a place in the next round if they avoid defeat against Cameroon today.
Yet another Liverpool player injured playing for his national side, (nothing new there).
