Revealed: Galatasaray snubbed £35m Liverpool record transfer for Bruma in 2013
Liverpool completed the transfer of Mohamed Salah from Roma for a club-record £35 fee (BBC) last week.
The Egyptian international put pen-to-paper on a five-year deal with the Premier League giants.
Galatasaray will probably be regretting their decision to snub Salah in 2013.
Turkish sports newspaper Fanatik report that the Lions had the choice of signing either Salah – who was 21-years-old at the time – or Bruma – who was 19-years-old.

Former Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim was given a choice of the two players and opted for Bruma.
Ex Lions president Unal Aysal reportedly asked Terim: “I asked Terim who he wants out of Bruma and Salah as we had an agreement in place for both players.”
Galatsaray signed Bruma from Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon for £10.6 million in 2013.
The Lions ended up selling the 23-year-old to Red Bull Leipzig for a deal that could reach £13.2 million [€15m] [Turkish-Football].
£10.7 million will be paid upfront and the rest will be paid in bonuses depending on performance.
Salah went for three times Bruma’s fee but it is worth remembering that he is two-years older that the Portuguese winger.
The Egyptian winger netted 15 times and provided 11 assists in 31 games for Roma last season.
Bruma meanwhile scored 12 times and provided nine assists, finishing the season as statistically the best performing player according to Whoscored.
