‘I’m a lot tougher’ – Star midfielder Emre Can reveals how Liverpool has helped him
Liverpool midfielder Emre Can has revealed how the club has helped him develop his game.
Can stated that he has become ‘tougher in the tackle’ since joining the Reds.
Th 23-year-old’s latest comments will be welcomed by Liverpool fans hoping he stays on this summer.
The Turkish origin midfielder showed no signs that he is unsettled at Anfield.
Question marks remain over whether Can will stay on next season as he has just 12 months remaining on his contract but hasn’t signed an extension.

“Liverpool has helped me a lot,” Can was quoted as saying by the Liverpool Echo.
“I’ve learnt a lot in my three years there. I’m a lot tougher in the tackle now. I’ve also developed as a person whilst in England.”
Can has also been featuring for the Germany national team at the Confederations Cup.
The powerful midfielder started the last two games for Germany staring in the 1-1 draw against Chile and the 3-1 victory over Cameroon.
The Reds star believes Germany can go all the way and win the tournament.
“We’re in the semi-final and have a big chance of reaching the final but Mexico is a tricky opponent. They have a lot of agile, technically gifted players. It will be anything but an easy game,” he added.
Germany take on Mexico next in the semi-finals.
