Ligue 1 outfit join race for 28-year-old Arsenal star, Turkish giants hope for resolution

Liege 1 outfit Nantes have joined the race for Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina according to France Football.

Per the source, Nantes have made the Colombian international a transfer priority.

Claudio Ranieri who was recently appointed head coach of the French side is keen on signing Ospina.

Arsenal are reportedly demanding €4 million for the 28-year-old.

Ospina is no stranger to French football having joined the Gunners from Nice in 2014.

The Colombian keeper has however, grown increasingly frustrated with his role at Arsenal playing second fiddle to Petr Cech in the Premier League.

Nantes are not the only side interested in recruiting Ospina this window.

Fenerbahce have been locked in talks with Ospina and Arsenal but have reached a deadlock in talks.

The Yellow Canaries want the Gunners to lower their asking price or agree to a loan deal.

Arsenal have refused to play ball but a source close to Fenerbahce revealed to Turkish-Football that the club are hopeful that they will kind a resolution.
