Germany take on Mexico in the Confederations Cup semi-final hoping to reach the final and lift the trophy for the first time.
Germany boss Joachim Low rotated the squad heavily during the group stages and has done so again heading into the semi-finals.
Liverpool star Emre Can was expected to start but has been dropped.

The central midfielder of Turkish origin started to last two games for the national team but will be on the bench against Mexico.
Julian Draxler has been given the nod, while Hector, Goretzka and Stindl keep their place in the side.
Henrichs meanwhile will get his first start of the tournament.
Mexico meanwhile will have star striker Javier Hernandez available after recovering from injury.
Andres Guardado is suspended while centre-back Diego Reyes is out injured.
The last time Mexico took on Germany was 12 years ago in the Confederations Cup with the Germany clinching the tie in extra time.
